We are manufacturers of henna based herbal hair colors. Henna is an open shrub with heavily scented, small cream flowers and blue black fruit.

Uses
Henna leaves yield the famous red dye used as body paint, and to stain hair, nails, cloth, and sometimes, the manes of white arab horses. The cooling, astringent leaves soothe fevers, headaches, stings, aching joints, and skin irritations. The leaves are also deodorisers, carried under the arm by rabbiis, and recommended in apina's medieval herbals to treat "evil-smelling feet". The bark, leaves, and fruit are used in folk medicine. The flowers scented oil, is an Indian and African perfume and is used in Arab religious festivals.

Remark
The flower scent was known as "Camphire" in the bible, and was the source of Cleopatra's famous seductive perfume, cyprinum, used to soak the sails of her barge before her first meeting with Antony.

Henna
The Fragrenna has many facets to its enchanting side. Apart from being considered auspicious, it is a symbol of age old Indant Hian traditions. Henna is popular for it's natural values, colouring and cooling effect and pleasant fragrance. In homes, the green henna leaves are gathered and then dried in the shade. Finely grounded powder is mixed with water to make a paste. This paste is applied on hands in beautiful patterns and then left to dry, resulting in a deep red colours, which leaves you mesmerised with its sheer charm

Natural Henna
Henna in pure form without any additives is known as natural henna. Natural henna also has coloriung effect , but the colours is not very deep. Dyeing with natural henna produces a brownish red hue. It is perfectly safe and has no ill effects, which is the main reason for its popularity. India is one of the major producers of Henna.

Neutral Henna
Neutral Henna is an excellent conditioner. Application of henna invariably gives a reddish tinge to hair. To avoid this, a special form of Henna powder-Neutral Henna, is formulated which conditions the hair and makes it soft, shiny and also adds volume. Hair treated with Henna bounces with health. Neutral henna is also used for placing on tombstones at graves as a benediction.

Indigo Henna

Sensitivity test
PPD products containing may cause inflamation of the skin in some cases and so a preliminary test should always be carried out to determine whether or not special sensitivity exists. For carrying out the test, cleanse a small area of the skin behind the ear or on the inner surface of the forearm, using either soap and water or alcohol. Apply a small quantity of the hair colours as prepared for use to the area and allow it to dry. After 24 hours, wash the area gently. If no irritation or inflammation is apparent, it may be assumed that no hypersensitivity to the colours exists. We recomnded that the testbe carried out before each and every application.

Preparation of paste
1. Place the powder in a plate use 3 parts water to 1 part powder for making a paste to facilitate gentle and smooth application on hair.

2. Five minutes after application comb the hair so that the paste should reaches the roots of hair. If any whiteness is observed on hair, apply some more paste on that portion.

3. Wash the hair after 30 minutes until rinsing water becomes clear and entirely colourless. While washing hair, keep the eyes and mouth closed.

4. Use about 50 gms or more depends upon your hair density.

Cautions
1. Henna hair colours packets should be kept away from direct sunlight, preferably in a dark place.
2. This preparation should not be used for dyeing eyelashes or eyebrows as it can cause inflammation.
